In 1993, New Jersey native, Christina Morgan was graduating high school with honors. She had lettered in choir, won "outstanding vocalist" at the "Festivals of Music" choir competition, and was voted by her peers as "Most Musical" and "Most Theatrical". A year later, she moved to Michigan where she continued to pursue her creative outlets which led her to take part in Community Theater and participate with lead roles in numerous independent films.

In 2005, she crossed paths with Detroit Music Award winner Paul Miles. They collaborated as a vocal team and performed around town and on the Mitch Albom Radio show on WJR. Eventually Paul had introduced her to another talented Detroit musician, John Reece. This led to the "John Reece Project", a smooth jazz band that combined the best jazz musicians in town.

For the last 10 years, Christina ("Steeners") has been performing with the rock band, "Bricktown Station" as lead vocalist, percussionist, and songwriter. In 2006 the band put out their premiere CD, "HOME". Being with the band has allowed Christina to perform at most every Detroit festival and benefit, on local radio stations, and continue as an active member in the Detroit music community. In the winter of 2011, the band hopes to put out their highly anticipated sophomore CD, "Are We There Yet?".

Of course Christina continues to dedicate most of her vocal talents to the band, but that has never stopped her from wanting to pursue other musical outlets. Since 2007, Christina became the unofficial National Anthem Singer for the Detroit Roller Derby Girls. "C-S#ARP" became her beloved moniker. Although she hopes to join the Detroit team for yet another season at Cobo Hall, plans have already been made to perform her rendition of the anthem for the Bluewater Derby Girls. She also has been a guest performer as "The Voice" with "Hell's Belles". This local burlesque troupe had been the opening act for locally known band, Crud (former members of the alternative rock band, "Sponge").

Although she sings around town often, her most popular stage continues to be at home while listening to local radio. That's where you can find her other half, and number one fan, Christopher. His major support has helped lead to a solid 11 year marriage. Christina states, "He has been there for me when the crowd was so big I couldn't find him...he has been there for me when he was the only audience member". An inspiration, the motivation, and of course, her muse. The two live in a ranch with a cat and a dog. The happy couple spends their spare time back country camping and hiking in the woods, miles away from the everyday hassles of life.

Christina, or Chrissy as close friends and family call her, continues to perform around the Detroit metro area at local jazz clubs and blues open jam sessions. Sometimes, you may even hear that familiar voice busking around the corner at Eastern Market or joining the salsa jazz band on Thursday nights at her waitressing job. Christina, Chrissy, C-S#ARP, The Voice, Mrs. Morgan, Steeners. Whatever name you may call her, don't call her unmotivated. This girl has made a name for herself as someone with dedication, passion, and talent. Her self-proclaimed slogan, "hardest working girl in no biz", will be a thing of the past if this talented money train keeps on going the route it's taking.
